Inbox: your inbox within Tesoro
The Inbox is a simplified email overview, read, reply, forward without leaving Tesoro. Works with your linked Gmail, Outlook, or Zoho account.
When do you use this?
Section titled “When do you use this?”- You want to quickly read your email without folder structure
- A customer has just replied and you want to respond immediately
- You are on mobile and want to send a quick reply
Opening the Inbox
Section titled “Opening the Inbox”Menu on the left → Inbox. Only appears with a linked account.
Layout
Section titled “Layout”Two panels side by side:
- Email list (left): newest at the top, unread in bold
- Reading pane (right): selected email, possibility to Reply/Forward
What appears in the list
Section titled “What appears in the list”| Element | What it means |

Reading emails
Section titled “Reading emails”- Click an email in the list.
- The full thread appears on the right. For each message you will see:
- Sender (name + address)
- To whom
- Type label (reply, forwarded)
- Date + time
- Full text
- Attachments at the bottom
- Opening an unread email → automatically marked as read.
Opening attachments
Section titled “Opening attachments”At the bottom of the message. Name + type icon + size. Click to open in a new window.
Collapsing/expanding quoted text
Section titled “Collapsing/expanding quoted text”When replying, the original text is collapsed by default. Click ”…” to view it. Click again to collapse.
Retrieving new emails
Section titled “Retrieving new emails”Not automatic: you sync yourself.
- Click Sync at the top right.
- The icon spins, the label becomes “Syncing”.
- Done → confirmation, new emails in the list.
Sending a new email
Section titled “Sending a new email”- New Email at the top right (next to Sync).
- The compose window opens on the right.
- Fill in:
- To: auto-suggestions from contacts + team
- CC / BCC: open via buttons next to To
- Subject: required
- Message: formatting via the buttons above it
- Templates (optional), click the button next to the subject, search, click a template to insert or the eye icon for preview.
- Signature: auto-added (your default).
- Send: or
Ctrl+S/Ctrl+Enter(Win) /Cmd+S/Cmd+Enter(Mac).
Replying
Section titled “Replying”- Open an email.
- Find the message you want to reply to.
- Click Reply on the right next to the message.
- To + subject (“Re: …”) auto-filled; original text below your reply.
- Type + Send.
Forwarding
Section titled “Forwarding”- Open an email.
- Click Forward.
- Subject “Fwd: …” + message copied.
- Fill in To.
- (Optional) your own note above the original message.
- Send.
Browsing through your emails
Section titled “Browsing through your emails”20 per page. At the bottom:
- Previous / Next buttons
- Page info: “Page 1 of 5 · 96 emails”
