Location and Map: GPS, Address, and Cadastral Data
A correct GPS position makes the difference between “appearing in the search results of an interested buyer” and “not being found”. Tesoro offers three ways to set coordinates: map click, search field, or direct input, and retrieves Spanish cadastral data with one click.
When do you use this?
Section titled “When do you use this?”- A seller only gives the address, you look it up via the map
- For apartments: you type the cadastral reference and retrieve all official data
- You are on site and want to use the coordinates of your current location directly

Three ways to set GPS coordinates
Section titled “Three ways to set GPS coordinates”- Open the property in edit mode, scroll to Location.
- Click on the map, a marker appears.
- Address fields (Street, City, State, Zip, Country) are automatically filled in.
- Save.
- Use the search field at the top right of the map.
- Type at least 2 characters, suggestions appear.
- Select a result → map navigates, marker appears.
- Address fields auto-filled.
- Save.
- Type coordinates in the search field:
36.7213, -4.4216orLat: 36.7213, Lng: -4.4216. - The system recognizes and places the marker.
- Address fields auto-filled.
- Save.
Dragging the marker for precision
Section titled “Dragging the marker for precision”Drag the marker → address fields update automatically. Useful for fine-tuning an inaccurate position.
Your current location
Section titled “Your current location”Button at the top left of the map → centers on your device location (asks permission). Button spins during lookup, gray without permission. Very useful during on-site viewings.
Map on the detail page
Section titled “Map on the detail page”On the property detail page (tab All House Details) there is a static map with:
- Marker at the exact GPS
- Surroundings
- Button Open in Google Maps
The map only appears when location data is available.
Auto-completion: both directions

Cadastre: Spanish cadastral data

Retrieving data
Section titled “Retrieving data”- Open the property in edit mode.
- Click Cadastre in the header bar → side panel opens.
- If Land Registry Reference is filled in → system searches directly.
- Without reference number → address lookup. Requires:
- State
- City
- Road Type
- Street
- Number
- For apartments also: Floor + Door
- Click Populate to transfer data to property fields.

Quality score (0, 100)
Section titled “Quality score (0, 100)”After retrieval, the system compares your CRM data with official cadastral data on:
- Street name, house number
- Province, postal code
- Surface area (CRM built area vs cadastral)
- Year of construction
- Cadastral reference
High score = your data is correct. Low score = outdated or incorrect, manually investigate.
Refresh
Section titled “Refresh”Button Refresh in the cadastral side panel → retrieve again. Useful for expected updates or after address changes.
Location hierarchy
Section titled “Location hierarchy”Three layers for searching and filtering:

On website and portals

Section titled “Website”GPS present + Show on Website on → map appears on the detail page of your site, with pin + click-through to Google Maps.
Portals
Section titled “Portals”Coordinates are sent to Idealista, Kyero, ThinkSpain, other MLS portals. Portals use them to:
- Show the property on their map
- Position correctly in location search
- Calculate distance to amenities + landmarks
Publication of the address
Section titled “Publication of the address”Publication of Address = No → address fields invisible on website + portals, but GPS coordinates can still be sent (depending on portal configuration). Common for owners who want privacy.
Default map center
Section titled “Default map center”New property without GPS? Map centers on your company location (from Settings). Once GPS is set → map on property location.
Common mistakes

Section titled “Map shows wrong location”GPS coordinates not correct. Click again on correct location, or search address again. Forgot to Save?
Address fields not auto-filled
Section titled “Address fields not auto-filled”In rural areas, the service sometimes returns incomplete data. Fill in manually.
Cadastre lookup fails
Section titled “Cadastre lookup fails”Required fields incomplete, at least State, City, Road Type, Street, Number. For apartments also Floor + Door. Or: type the Land Registry Reference manually.
Low quality score
Section titled “Low quality score”Your CRM data differs. Check street name, house number, postal code, surface area, year of construction. Click Populate to take over official values.
No map on detail page
Section titled “No map on detail page”Requires at least one address field + GPS coordinates. Fill them in.
