Company Profile: Company Information and Standards
Your company profile is your foundation. Company name, time zone, currency, settings that affect the entire office. This article covers the General tab; other tabs have their own articles.
When to use this
Section titled “When to use this”- First setup of your office in Tesoro
- Changing the company name after rebranding
- Adjusting the time zone when relocating

General tab: all fields

Company Name
Section titled “Company Name”Only required field in the company profile. Appears:
- Throughout the CRM interface
- In client documents (PDF, proposals)
- In email communication
- In Client Portal

Contact details
Section titled “Contact details”Phone Number auto-validated for international format with + and country code. Not accepted? Check + and country code.
Website must be a valid URL, including https://.
Time zone: impact
Section titled “Time zone: impact”Determines date/time display:
- Creation dates of records
- Timestamps for activities + meetings + tasks
- Timestamps in change history
- Email timestamps + notifications
Currency: impact
Section titled “Currency: impact”Sets the default currency symbol for:
- Property prices + listing values
- Deal values in pipeline
- Financial overviews + reports
Changing adjusts the symbol, does not convert amounts. All existing values remain numerically the same.
Address
Section titled “Address”Standard address fields:
- Street, City, State, Zip Code, Country
Plus cadastral:
- Floor, Building Name, Apartment Number
Social media
Section titled “Social media”Optional fields for your social media profiles. Used in client communication and transactional emails.
CORS Domain Name: when to use?
Section titled “CORS Domain Name: when to use?”Only needed when:
- Custom website widget that communicates with Tesoro API
- Iframe integration of Client Portal on your site
Otherwise, leave blank.
