Call Settings: Twilio for Calls, SMS, WhatsApp
One configuration page for telephony + SMS + WhatsApp Business via Twilio. One Twilio account + numbers + activation = all three channels work.

Twilio Settings: fields

Configuring
Section titled “Configuring”- Settings → My Company → Call Settings → Twilio Settings.
- Click Configure Twilio Settings (or edit icon).
- Enter Twilio Call Number.
- Enter Twilio WhatsApp Number (separate number).
- Set Active to on.
- (Optional) Set Mask to on.
- Click Save.
From now on, every team member can call, send SMS and use WhatsApp from any record.
Mask Verification: for call masking
Section titled “Mask Verification: for call masking”When Mask is on, outgoing calls show your Twilio company number to clients instead of your personal mobile. For some numbers, Twilio requires verification before they can be used as caller ID.
Mask Verification tab shows:
- Verified numbers (green checkmark)
- Numbers still to be verified
- Button to start verification process (Twilio calls or sends SMS with code)
What is Twilio? A reminder
Section titled “What is Twilio? A reminder”External communication platform. Paid third-party service. Tesoro communicates with Twilio for the actual connections, Twilio charges per minute/message.
Twilio charges:
- Per-minute rates for calls (varies by country)
- Per-message rates for SMS + WhatsApp
- Premium rates for WhatsApp Business templates
Tesoro does not charge extra. Check your Twilio dashboard for current prices.
Common mistakes
Section titled “Common mistakes”Twilio not active: call/message refused
Section titled “Twilio not active: call/message refused”Active is off. Or numbers not entered correctly. Check Settings.
Wrong country code
Section titled “Wrong country code”International format required, + + country code (+34 for Spain, +31 for Netherlands, etc.).
WhatsApp not working
Section titled “WhatsApp not working”Besides the Twilio WhatsApp Number, your Twilio account must have an approved WhatsApp Business profile (via Twilio + Meta approval). Ask the Tesoro team if this has been configured for you.
