Email: Connect, Send, Track
An email you send from Tesoro links itself to the record and automatically tracks whether the recipient has opened, clicked, or replied. No more switching between Gmail and CRM.
When do you use this?
Section titled “When do you use this?”- First time setting up Tesoro, you connect your account
- Sending a property presentation to 200 contacts (mass email)
- You want to approach a lead from their lead record
- You want to know if a prospect even opened your email
Connecting your account
Section titled “Connecting your account”Personal setting, each agent does this themselves. Settings → Personal Settings → Email.
- Click Configure Gmail API.
- A new tab opens → Google consent screen.
- Log in and grant permission.
- Back in Tesoro → Connection Successful badge.
- Click Configure Outlook API.
- Microsoft consent screen in a new tab.
- Log in and grant permission.
- Connection Successful.
- Click Zoho Mail.
- Zoho consent screen.
- Log in and grant permission.
- Connection Successful.
The Emails page
Section titled “The Emails page”Sidebar → Emails. Three panels:
- Sidebar (left): Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Trash, etc., synced from your provider
- Message list (center): email threads in the selected folder
- Detail view (right): selected thread + all messages; reply or internal Comment tab
Toolbar actions
Section titled “Toolbar actions”- Select All: select all threads for bulk actions
- Delete: to Trash (Gmail) or Junk (Outlook)
- New Mail: compose a new message
Sending an email
Section titled “Sending an email”Two places:
- Emails page → New Mail
- Email tab on a record → recipient is auto-filled

Signature
Section titled “Signature”Auto-added. Two types:
- User signatures: your personal signatures via Settings → Personal Settings → Email
- Company signatures: shared signatures via Settings → My Company → Email Settings → Signatures

Tracking: what you can see
Section titled “Tracking: what you can see”Per sent email:

Email templates
Section titled “Email templates”Managed via Settings → Email. Contains:
- Title: recognizable name in the picker
- Subject: pre-filled subject line
- Body: rich text content
- Language: language
- Audience: for whom
- Type: category
- Group: organizational
Mass email
Section titled “Mass email”Select multiple contacts/leads/relations in list view → Mass Email toolbar:
- Choose a template
- Choose a sender (from team)
- Send immediately or schedule (date + time zone)
Daily limit: 1,000 emails per user: counter visible in the window.
Emails on records
Section titled “Emails on records”Every record (Contact / Deal / Lead / Relation) has an Email tab:
- Full thread history
- Compose a new message directly
- Tracking visible
- Internal comments on threads (team only, not the client)
