Edit, Publish, and Copy Properties

You create a property once. You edit it continuously: adjust price, change status, add photos, add a description in an additional language, publish to your website and MLS portals. Plus: copy similar properties instead of entering them again.

When do you use this?

• The market changes, you adjust price or status
• Add new photos or an English description
• Property is ready for publication on your website + MLS portals
• Property is sold or rented, update status
• Create a similar property (row houses, apartment block)
• Many properties have been assigned a new agent, bulk update

The basics: editing a property

Three steps, works for any change.

1. Open the property.

   Go to Properties in the sidebar and click on the property. You land on the View page with four tabs: Essential Info, All house details, Connections & attachments, SEO & Social Media.

2. Click Edit.

   You go to the editing form. The left column contains nine sections: Essential Info, Views, Amenities, Description & Links, Add Image, Video, Energy Rating, Pricing, Additional Details. The right column is a Quick Preview with the main photo, price, description, and a Posted To list per connected portal.

3. Make the necessary changes and click Save.

   The Save button is at both the top and bottom, no need to scroll. Changes take effect immediately.

Quickly browse through properties

On the view page there are Previous and Next arrows in the header. They follow the same order as your last property list, handy for batch operations where you still want to check each property individually (such as price adjustments).

Unsaved changes

If you navigate away without Save, an Unsaved Changes warning appears. Only confirm “leave” if you really want to discard the changes.

Publishing to your website

The Show on Website toggle is on the edit page, in the Description & Links section (directly below the description field).

Only works with status: Active, Under Offer, Reserved or Sold. The toggle is greyed out for other statuses.

1. Open the property, click Edit.
2. Scroll to Description & Links.
3. Turn Show on Website on (publish) or off (unpublish).
4. Click Save.

The system automatically records a Published At date on first publication, and a Last Unpublished timestamp on unpublishing. Both are used for the “days on market” counter.

Default off for new properties

When Add Property is used, Show on Website is off by default. This gives you time to build the listing before it goes live. For existing properties, it is on by default.

Website ≠ MLS

Show on Website does not affect publication to Kyero, Idealista, or other MLS portals. You control those separately (see next section).

Publishing to MLS portals

In the sidebar preview on the edit page, there are toggles per connected portal:

• On/off per portal (Kyero, Idealista, Fotocasa, …)
• Current publication status per portal
• For Kyero: additional Prime listing toggle

Each portal has its own required fields

If you try to enable a portal and it doesn’t work, the system shows which fields are missing for that specific portal. Fill them in and try again, each portal has its own requirements.

Copying a property

Sometimes you want a second property that closely resembles an existing one. Or you want to offer the same property for both sale and rent. Duplicate creates a copy of all entered data, standalone or linked.

Two scenarios

Similar properties (standalone)

Scenario: a new block of 8 identical 2-bedroom apartments, only the floor and orientation differ.

Approach: complete apartment 1 fully. Open the View page, click Duplicate, leave ‘Link as variant’ off, click Duplicate again. You get an independent copy. Only adjust floor/orientation/photos and save.

Repeat 7 times. Time saved: ~80%.

For sale and for rent (linked)

Scenario: the owner wants to both sell (€1.2M) and rent (€8,500/month) his villa until a buyer is found.

Approach: complete the For Sale version. On the View page, click Duplicate. Check “Link as variant”, select For Rent under Transaction, click Duplicate. The price fields are empty, only fill in the rental price.

Both properties remain linked via Connections and Attachments → Linked Variants. As soon as one sells or rents, you see it at a glance.

Step by step

1. Open the property you want to copy, go to the View page.

2. Click Duplicate: at the top of the page, or via the Connections and Attachments → Linked Variants tab.

3. Choose the copy type:

   • Standalone: Link as variant off → click Duplicate
   • Linked: Link as variant on → choose Transaction (For Sale or For Rent) → click Duplicate

4. Edit the copy. The system automatically opens the editing page of the new property.

Copy gets status Draft

Even if the original is Active, so you can review before publishing. For linked copies with a different transaction (For Sale ↔ For Rent), the price fields are cleared because the amounts differ.

Original Property button

If you have a property open that is itself a linked copy, you will see Original Property instead of Duplicate. Click it to go to the original, where you can duplicate.

Removing a link

Want to break the connection between variant and original? Both properties remain, but are no longer linked.

1. Open the property, go to Connections and Attachments.
2. In Linked Variants: click the unlink icon (chain link) next to the property.
3. Confirm with Unlink.

You can only unlink a copy from the original, not the other way around.

Bulk: updating multiple properties at once

If you need to update the same field across many properties at once, use Mass Edit from the properties list.

1. Go to Properties.
2. Select the properties using the checkboxes.
3. Click Mass Edit in the toolbar.
4. Choose what to update: status, transaction type, agent, property type, province, tags, or labels. Apply the changes.

Not all fields via Mass Edit

Price adjustments or description changes cannot be done via Mass Edit; those are per property. For batch price changes: first filter the right set, then use Previous/Next to browse through the filtered set.

Deleting a property

1. Open the property, click Delete (header or action menu).
2. Confirm in the dialog.
3. Immediately after deletion, a notification with Undo appears: a few seconds to revert.

Soft delete versus permanent

Deleted properties first go to a “deleted” status, recoverable via the Deleted properties toggle in the properties list.

Permanent delete (hard-delete) also removes all files, labels, tags, history, and linked records. Cannot be recovered.

Common mistakes

Show on Website is greyed out

Status must be Active, Under Offer, Reserved or Sold. Change the status first.

MLS portal refuses publication

Required fields for that specific portal are missing. The system will indicate which ones. Each portal has its own requirements.

No Duplicate button visible

You have a property open that is itself a linked copy. Click Original Property → there you can duplicate. Deleted properties also show no Duplicate.

Validation errors on Save

The page automatically scrolls to the first red field. Common: video URL not in valid URL format, bedrooms or bathrooms above 100, description title shorter than 3 characters.

Tesoro Reference is locked

Once assigned, this field is read-only for consistent numbering. An admin can change it via reference number settings.

Field visible on View page but not on Edit

Some fields only appear under conditions:

• Built Area / Useful Area: hidden for Plot of Land type
• Equipment: only for rent transaction types
• Plot Size: only for Villa, Finca, Townhouse, Plot of Land

Frequently asked questions

Is my website updated immediately after Save?

Yes. Show on Website toggle changes work immediately after Save.

Does unpublishing also remove MLS publications?

No. Show on Website is only your own website. MLS portals you turn off separately in the sidebar.

What status does a copied property get?

Always Draft: even if the original is Active. So you can first review before publishing.

Why are the price fields empty in a linked copy?

Only if you choose For Sale → For Rent (or vice versa): the amounts differ, so the system clears them to prevent incorrect prices.

Can I recover a deleted property?

With soft delete: yes, via the Deleted properties toggle in the list. With hard delete: no, files, history, linked records are also gone.

The view page (reference)

The view page (read-only) has four tabs. You don’t use them for every edit; they show complete information for when you want to check before making changes.

Essential Info

Default tab. Shows property name, status, reference numbers, type, photo gallery, key figures (bedrooms, bathrooms, surfaces), price and commission, address + map location, description text, features/amenities, energy label, assigned agent and owner, days-on-market counter, creation and modification dates.

All House Details

Comprehensive specifications, interior, exterior, cadastre. The full field list is below in Detailed property details.

Connections and Attachments

Linked data:

• Linked Variants: linked copies (see section Copying a property)
• Deals: active and previous deals for this property
• Contacts / Leads: who showed interest
• Documents and Attachments: uploaded files
• PDF Handouts: generate brochures with your template, optionally with agent personalization
