Relations: Managing companies and organizations

Contacts are individual people. Relations are companies. The law firm where your notary works is a relation; the notary themselves is a contact linked to that relation. The same applies to banks, construction companies, and project developers.

  • You regularly work with law firm “Calida Legal” and want to see all related people + projects together
  • You link a project developer to a new development project
  • You want a complete overview of your business partners

  1. Open Relations in the sidebar and click the create button.

  2. Fill in the required fields:

  3. Fill in optional fields:

    • Website URL: auto-validated
    • Preferred Communication: preferred channel
    • Credit Terms: payment terms
    • Note: free text, 3, 10,000 characters
    • Contacts: link people to this company
    • Properties: link properties
  4. Address + social media (optional), Facebook, Twitter.

  5. Save.

  • Preferred communication
  • Hashtags (to categorize relations)
  • Avatar, upload via menu (max 1 MB, images only)

When adding a contact link, the contact record is automatically updated, works both ways.


Relations of type Company Project Developer (or other developer types) can be linked to a new development project as the developer. The Projects tab on the relation page shows all linked projects.


  1. Relations → Import (Admin only).
  2. Upload CSV with:
    • name
    • type
    • email
    • status
    • phone_number
  3. Mapping + Start Import.

  1. Open the relation.
  2. Click the three dots in the top right.
  3. Delete + confirm.

What is the difference between a contact and a relation?

A contact is an individual person (notary José García). A relation is a company (Notaría García & Asociados). You link the person to the company.

Can a relation be linked to multiple projects?

Section titled “Can a relation be linked to multiple projects?”

Yes, a relation can be the developer of as many projects as needed.

Can I change the type of an existing relation?

Section titled “Can I change the type of an existing relation?”

Yes, unless the current type link is active for a property or project and the new type is incompatible with it.
