Set Up Your Company Profile
Your company profile is the foundation of your Tesoro account. It determines how your office appears to clients, which currency and timezone are used by default, and how email, calling, watermarks, and tag structure work for your entire team. Set this up correctly before you add properties or contacts: changing it later can cause confusion for your team.
When to use this
Section titled “When to use this”- You are setting up Tesoro for the first time
- You are billing through a different country or currency and want that as the new default
- You want to standardize watermarks, reference numbers, or tag libraries for the entire team
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Click the gear icon in the top-right header or go directly to Settings → Company Settings. In the left sidebar you will see groups: GENERAL, SUBSCRIPTIONS, USER AND CONTROLS, TEMPLATES, WEBSITE, MLS, CALENDAR, DEVELOPERS.
Under GENERAL, select Company Settings. At the top of the right pane there are ten tabs: Company Settings, Email Settings, Call Settings, Watermark, Reference Numbers, Tags, API Keys, AI Settings, Client Portal Settings, Threshold.
The basics: Company Settings tab
Section titled “The basics: Company Settings tab”Start here. The tab is called Company Settings (first tab on the left). Only one field is required: Company name.
-
Company name fill in. This is the only required field. The name appears throughout the CRM, in documents and in notifications from the platform.
-
Add contact details (all three optional):
- Email: free text
- Phone Number: international format. The country flag on the right opens a dropdown to select the country code (default 🇪🇸 +34)
- Website: URL
-
Timezone and Currency choose from dropdowns:
- Timezone: determines the date/time display for the entire team (e.g. GMT+1:00 Europe/Madrid)
- Currency: default currency symbol for property prices and deal values
-
Location within a building (optional, only for identification within a larger complex):
- Floor
- Building Name
- Apartment Number

The other tabs
Section titled “The other tabs”Once Company Settings is set, configure the other tabs as needed.
Company-wide email signature and sender settings for automatic transactional emails (lead notifications, deal updates).
Set this up before you send your first message to a lead, otherwise your initial follow-up will be without a signature.
Twilio integration for calling from the CRM. Enter your Twilio credentials: then agents can call and receive calls directly from contact and lead records.
Automatic watermark on shared or exported property photos.
Three settings:
- Watermark position: where on the photo the watermark appears (e.g. Center)
- Watermark Platform: for which export flow it applies (e.g. Website)
- Amount of transparency: how transparent (e.g. 0.4)
Uploaded file types: WebP, JPEG, PNG. Recommended dimensions: 200×100px (2:1 ratio).
Automatic numbering for deals, properties, and records.
- Prefix and/or Suffix for the format (e.g.
TES-00042-2026) - Sequential Numbering: each new record gets the next number
- Locking prevents editing afterwards. Be careful: after locking, a change can cause gaps or duplicates.
Tag library for contacts, properties, and deals. The tab is called Tags (not “Company Tags”).
- Add tag opens a dialog where you choose name and color
- Maximum of 100 tags per account (the counter at the top, e.g. 7/100, shows the status)
- Each tag gets a color dot for visual recognition in lists and pipelines
- Click the × next to a tag to delete it
- Plan the tag structure before you add contacts: consistent use makes filtering and reporting much more powerful.
API keys for integrations with external tools and automations.
Treat keys like passwords: store securely, never share publicly.
One toggle for the in-CRM AI features (translating, unbranding property descriptions, lead processing). Turn it on to give agents access.
