Tags and labels: categorization and workflow

Two categorization systems: Tags (lightweight, flexible, hashtags) and Labels (heavyweight, colored, company-wide). Both filterable; different purposes.

In the edit form of a property/deal/lead/contact: type in the Tags field → Enter → tag created and assigned. Existing tags appear as suggestions.

Settings → My Company → Company Tags for a central overview. Delete, rename, merge. Renamed tag changes on all records.

  • Company-wide managed: admins create
  • Colored: visually distinguishable in list

Settings → Labels or Settings → My Company → Labels:

  1. Create Label.
  2. Name + color + description.
  3. Select for which resources (properties, leads, deals, contacts).
  4. Save.

In the edit form of a resource: Labels field → choose from dropdown of existing labels. Do not create new ones at the record level.

Both filterable:

  • Tags filter in overviews, select one or more tags
  • Labels filter, same

Combination filter: tag “zeezicht” + label “Hot Lead” = properties with both.

Both via Mass Edit. Tags additive: existing remain, new ones are added. For labels, explicitly select what to add or replace.

  • Label “Photos needed” → worklist for photographer
  • Label “Q4 price review” → weekly evaluation shortlist
  • Tag zeezicht, golfbaan, gated-community for property search criteria
  • Tag Pools, Russisch for customer language preference
