Commission: Set, Calculate, Synchronize

Commission is recorded in three places: at the property, at the deal, and at the owner contact. The same logic applies in each place, choose a calculation mode, enter the values, and the system calculates. Synchronisation keeps the price and commission consistent as long as you want.

Commission fields
  • A seller wants to lower the final price, you let the system recalculate the net price
  • You negotiate on the net price instead of the asking price, different calculation mode
  • You export deal overviews and want to filter by commission level

Radio buttons at the top of Pricing.

  1. Enter Final Price.
  2. Enter Commission %.
  3. Owner’s Net Price = auto-calculated:
Net Price = Final Price / (1 + Commission / 100)

Example: Final price 250,000, commission 5% → net price 238,095.24.

Final Price = editable. Owner’s Net Price = read-only.


Checkbox Sync Commission on → price + commission stay linked:

  • Final Price changes → Net Price recalculates
  • Commission % changes → dependent field recalculates
  • Net Price changes (in net mode) → final price recalculates

Changes are recorded in the change history.


Only for deal type Sell or Rent out. For Buy or Rent, no commission field.

  1. Enter Deal Value.
  2. Enter Commission %.
  3. Price of commission appears in a blue info box.
Commission Amount = Deal Value x (Commission / 100)

Example: Deal value 300,000, 4% → info box shows 12,000.

Commission percentage appears next to the deal value in the sidebar, one glance and you see the fee.


For Owner leads or contacts with role Buyer/Seller-with-mandate:

  • Field Commission in the ownership section (%-suffix)
  • Market Price fill in
  • System calculates Price of commission:
Commission Amount = Market Value x (Commission / 100)

Calculate an expected fee already in the lead phase, before a formal deal exists.


On the property detail page (Essential Info)

Section titled “On the property detail page (Essential Info)”

The price section shows (only if filled in):

  • Price, total asking price
  • Calculation mode (final price or net price)
  • Commission, as X%
  • Owner’s Net Price

No price entered? The entire price section hides itself.


At Settings → XML Import you set a Default Commission:

  • Applied to all properties from this feed
  • Required field (≥ 0)
  • Individual properties can be adjusted manually after import

Net price or final price does not calculate

Section titled “Net price or final price does not calculate”

Check the selected mode. In final-price mode you must fill in Final Price (net is read-only). In net mode, the reverse.

Deal type is Buy or Rent. Only Sell + Rent out show the field.

Checkbox Sync Commission off? With sync disabled, no automatic recalculation occurs.

Default Commission in Settings → XML Import not filled in. Field is required.
